When I work on something creative, I start by brainstorming and writing down random ideas. Then, I organize my thoughts and make a plan so I don’t get stuck halfway through. I like to experiment while working because sometimes the best ideas come from mistakes. If I ever feel stuck, I take a break and come back with a fresh perspective. One project I’m really proud of was a painting I made for an art contest—I spent weeks perfecting the details, and it ended up winning first place. Seeing my hard work pay off made me realize how much I love creating things.

Today in class we did brainstorming for our project.
