Prompt: Describe a time when you had to speak in front of an audience. What were your fears? How did you handle them? What advice would you give to someone struggling with stage fright?
So, there was this one time I had to speak in front of my whole class for a project, and honestly, I was freaking out. My heart was pounding, and I felt like I might pass out just thinking about it. I was scared that I’d forget everything or stumble over my words. But I just focused on breathing and remembering that I was prepared, which helped calm me down. Once I started talking, I realized it wasn’t as bad as I thought, and I got into a rhythm. My advice? Just breathe, focus on the message, and don’t worry about being perfect!
Today in class we did public speaking notes.
