Write about something that you believed as a child.

When I was a child, I believed that the moon followed me wherever I went. I thought it was my personal guardian in the sky, watching over me and lighting my way. No matter how far I traveled, the moon always seemed to stay right outside my window. As I grew older, I learned about how distance and perspective create this illusion, but it didn’t feel as magical. Even now, I sometimes look up at the moon and remember how comforting that belief was.

Today we took a benchmark.

I think I did real good.
