Prompt: Write about your most special holiday memory.

Last Christmas was the most special holiday I’ve ever had because my whole family was together. On Christmas Eve, we decorated the tree with a mix of old ornaments full of memories and new ones we made ourselves. Later, we sat by the fireplace eating cookies and sharing stories, with my grandpa telling us about his first Christmas with my grandma. On Christmas morning, we made breakfast together, laughing as my younger brother accidentally burned the bacon. What made it unforgettable was how present everyone was—no phones, no distractions, just us. It reminded me that the best part of the holidays isn’t the gifts but the time spent with family.

Today we did chapters 8-10 from a Lesson Before Dying.
I completed the assignment.
