Prompt: Write about a conversation that changed you.
One conversation that changed me was with my older brother when I was 16. I was freaking out about choosing between a safe job at the local store or trying out for a position at a music camp that was risky but something I really wanted. He looked at me and said, “Do you want to regret not trying, or do you want to take the chance and know you gave it your all?” His words hit me hard, and I realized I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t go for it. I decided to take the chance and audition for the camp, and even though it was nerve-wracking, I learned so much about myself and what I’m capable of. From that moment on, I stopped letting fear hold me back and started taking risks, even when it was scary.
Summary: We did a vocab assignment.
Reflect: I learned a lot of new words.
