Prompt: If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

If I were President, my first priority would be to tackle climate change by investing in clean energy and technologies that help protect our planet for future generations. I’d work hard to ensure everyone has access to affordable healthcare, so no one has to choose between getting the care they need and financial stability. Education is key to a bright future, so I’d make sure public schools get the funding they deserve and that higher education is accessible for all, whether through college or vocational training. The criminal justice system needs a serious overhaul, so I’d focus on reducing mass incarceration and addressing the racial disparities that still exist today. I’d also push for reforms in our democracy to make sure it truly represents the people, with measures like ranked-choice voting and campaign finance reform. Finally, I’d fight for fair wages and better working conditions, because every person deserves to thrive in their job, not just survive.
Today in class we did an assignment on JImmy Carter.
