 Today in class we did notes on argument. We learned about logos ethos and pathos. Pathos is when they stir up someone’s emotions. Ethos is when they use someone reliable to tell the audience. Logos is when they write facts. It was a good day of notes. 

 Today we worked on a Newsela Article. The text was worth reading because the author informs you of what to search on the web to find accurate results for what you are looking for. We learn what to look for when searching for medical conditions and symptoms. We also learn what to avoid. The classroom is still very hot.

 Today I helped Rodel do his work for Mr Rease. I learned that I always need to be caught up in so I don't get behind in my work. I also did my blog post for the day. I am going to allow rodell to use my chromebook to do his work. He told me he is missing a lot.

 Today Mr. Rease was not here. I am working on my blog post for today. Then I am working on stuff for other classes. I will continue with my work from physics. It is very hot in the classroom.

 Today I looked at my friends essay. I read through it  and helped him. I also learned about the introduction and conclusion paragraphs. The assignment is hard. I am happy I don't have to do it.

 Today we learned about the thesis statement. We also learned how to create an introduction and conclusion paragraph. One more thing I learned is that there are two types of thesis statements. I will use this knowledge for the eoc in April. I also had to kill a roach.

 Today we did notes on informal and formal language.  I learned about how slang has changed over generations. Mr. Rease also taught how and when to write in formal language. I will use this knowledge I learned today in future essays. Today's class was very valuable.

 Today we did a cluster and body paragraphs. I did the topic of technology. Writing and drawing the cluster was easy. I turned in a minor work coupon because I already know how to write body paragraphs so i didn't have to do it. I am having an okay day.

Today we did a lecture and notes. I learned a lot from it today. I learned about the writing process. It was hard to brainstorm. I had a bad day today.

 Today we did a test on vocab words and learned about an Emily Dickenson poem. I felt as though I did good on the test. I also learned about the difference of failure and success. I liked todays lesson.
